There are two levels of IELTS test – Academic and General Training.

Academic IELTS level should show whether the candidate is ready to study at the undergraduate or graduate level in English, and student enrollment depends on the results of this test.

IELTS General Training level that determines whether a candidate possesses the basic skills for coping with a broad social and educational context. It is intended for candidates who wish to finish high school, work, take courses that are not at the level of university education, in an environment where English is the official language of communication, or if they wish to live in Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

IELTS is designed for candidates older than 16 years.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a standardized test that checks the level of English among students when English is not their mother language.

Test examines all four language skills needed for effective communication: speaking, listening, reading and writing. The emphasis is on the use of English in communicative purposes. Some tasks will require the candidate to combine multiple language skills.

1,5 -2 million candidates from 130 countries take examinations organized by the University of Cambridge. The examinations are organized for different levels of knowledge. All language skills are tested. Candidates can take an Examination three times a year, in March, June and December, organized by the British Council. The candidates who pass the examination receive a diploma which has unlimited duration. The diplomas verify the level of English language proficiency that is required for specialized training, study and employment.
The preparatory courses for the three levels of general language have been organized by The Kolarac since 1992:

  • FCE (First Certificate in English – B2)
  • CAE (Certificate in Advanced English – C1)
  • CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English – C2)

All Courses last two semesters. Candidates can prepare the examination by practising all the language skills. Candidates discuss themes from everyday life, the press and contemporary literature.

The courses are lead by experienced teachers who attend seminars regularly and take additional training for these courses. Taking care of high quality teaching, The Kolarac always tried to fully meet the needs of the students and prepare them to successfully pass the examinations. The proof of our success is more than 95% of students who passed the examination after attending The Kolarac Courses.

Join the tens of thousands of satisfied students of the Center for Foreign Languages of The Endowment Ilija M. Kolarac and learn a foreign language well.

This is a set of three courses, which includes levels of B1 (BEC Preliminary) through B2 (BEC Vantage) to C1 (BEC Higher). These certificates are proof that a candidate’s knowledge is at the appropriate level and meets the standards required to use English in a business environment.

  • BEC Preliminary
  • BEC Vantage
  • BEC Higher

BEC focusses on all language skills: reading, writing, speaking and comprehension, but in a business context. The advantage of these courses / exams compared to other Cambridge courses of the same language level (PET, FCE and CAE) is that all tasks are based on real business situations. In this way, business people can show that they know how to apply their language skills in specific business situations, rather than just passively know about the grammar and the vocabulary.

In the world, BEC is used by hundreds of employers in order for the professional development of its employees, and in the employment of the new. Also, many universities and colleges accept the BEC Higher as confirmation of adequate knowledge of English required to attend and complete business studies in English.

Among the many topics to be covered, depending on the level, globalization, marketing, motivation, how to be proactive in times of crisis, stock market, trends in the economy and the markets, monetary policy and many others.
Otherwise, once acquired, this certificate has a lifetime validity.
