PREPARATION FOR THE EXAMINATION BEC – Business English Certificate

This is a set of three courses, which includes levels of B1 (BEC Preliminary) through B2 (BEC Vantage) to C1 (BEC Higher). These certificates are proof that a candidate’s knowledge is at the appropriate level and meets the standards required to use English in a business environment.

  • BEC Preliminary
  • BEC Vantage
  • BEC Higher

BEC focusses on all language skills: reading, writing, speaking and comprehension, but in a business context. The advantage of these courses / exams compared to other Cambridge courses of the same language level (PET, FCE and CAE) is that all tasks are based on real business situations. In this way, business people can show that they know how to apply their language skills in specific business situations, rather than just passively know about the grammar and the vocabulary.

In the world, BEC is used by hundreds of employers in order for the professional development of its employees, and in the employment of the new. Also, many universities and colleges accept the BEC Higher as confirmation of adequate knowledge of English required to attend and complete business studies in English.

Among the many topics to be covered, depending on the level, globalization, marketing, motivation, how to be proactive in times of crisis, stock market, trends in the economy and the markets, monetary policy and many others.
Otherwise, once acquired, this certificate has a lifetime validity.
