Literary evening
Andrea Jeftanović (born October 15, 1970, in Santiago de Chile) is a Chilean author, sociologist and academic.
She is the author of seven books. Novel titles include Escenario de guerra, Geografía de la lengua, No aceptes caramelos de extraños and Destinos errantes. In the field of essays, she published Conversaciones con Isidora Aguirre, Hablan los hijos and Escribir desde el trapecio. Most of them were published in several Spanish-speaking countries and were also translated into Danish, English and Portuguese. The first translation of one of her works into Serbian by the Academic Book is currently in the process of being translated and published.
Andrea is a bold voice of Chilean literature whose works successfully blur the boundaries between artistic and non-artistic reality.
