8.30 pm NOMADAK TX (Spain, 2006)
Directed by: Raúl de la Fuente
Starring: Harkaitz Martinez de San Vicente, Igor Otxoa
Genre: Road Movie Documentary – Runtime: 91 min
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nk8YGIRAuck

A film that takes you on a journey around the planet in a fantastic rhytm of images and primary sound of a unique archaic instrument - txalaparta. Just like in fairy tales, this journey began when two young Basques, musicians Harkaitz Martinez and Igor Otxoa create the life of ordinary pieces of wood. The uniqueness of txalaparta is that it is played by two people, and music is the dialogue of two musicians. They expand the dialogue and transfers around the world - from India to Lapland, through Mongolian steppes and Africa. Searching for new sounds, they crossed icy spaces of the Siberian mountains and hot deserts. During this big adventure, main stars meet musicians of different culture and they join their celebration of sound.

8.30 pm HELLO I AM DAVID! EINE REISE MIT DAVID HELFGOTT (Germany, 2015)
Directed by Cosimo Lange
Genre: Biography film - Music – Runtime: 90 min
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0V3Rwr56ls

"HELLO I AM DAVID! EINE REISE MIT DAVID HELFGOTT " Is the first documentary about this extraordinary pianist prodigy whose career seemed finished emphatically after the dramatic breakdown. And then, through the healing power of music and his great love for his wife Gillian, David Helfgot has found its way back to normal life and the concert podium. This masterfully made movie, great camera, sound and editing, allows us to satisfy ourselves with the irresistibly infectious passion and impulsiveness of David Helfgott. As a pianist, he plays only what he feels, as a person speaks without reservation what he thinks and touches people in the literal sense of the word.
